Day 8-12 (S4 teaching practice) and Innovative Model

 

Day 8- 24/11/2025 - Monday

Today I have reached the school at 8.35.Have signed the morning attendance and volunteered the morning line duty at the school. After the line duty I had to collect the substitution class.I got substitute class one at 9 L and one at 8F.In 6R I had taken some basic mathematics concepts related to their prescribed topics of learning.I had my class here at 9 L where I had teach with the lesson templates. I had to teach them the continuation of circle measure  chapter .The  topic was "Problems based on the area of circle using the innovative model "-The problem relating to areas had need discussed with the help of geogebra too. It made the studies so engaging.I had a rigorous check up through the chapter and presented it well. I have gone thoroughly through the SCERT Mathematics textbook and handbook of standard 9 th.I have used a blend of English and Malayalam language for communication as it was more comfortable to them. There were 36/42  students present in the classroom. Good class management and time management. A proper verbal and nonverbal communication was fostered. The hand writing on the Blackboard was neat and legible. Proper activity cards for developmental part and chart was made for generalisation of the concept in the right context. A positive reinforcement was given. Review conducted and home assignment were given.I have given them the activity to implement the concept to them. Generalised the concept.Review was conducted,Proper reinforcement was given. Audible sound.Neat and legible hand writing. 

 Day 9- 25/11/2025 - Tuesday

Today I have reached the school at 8.35.Have signed the morning attendance and volunteered the morning line duty at the school. After the line duty I had to collect the substitution class.I got substitute class one at 9 L.I had my class here at 9 L with a lot of vibrant students. I had to teach them the new chapter named real numbers and the topic was Measure and angle .I had to teach the concept absolute value in the substitute period also. So I could complete 2 LPs. For the day. The fundamentals of the number system that is the  natural numbers,whole numbers, integers, rational numbers,irrational numbers and hence the real numbers were discussed. I had a rigorous check up through the chapter and presented it well. I have gone thoroughly through the SCERT Mathematics textbook and handbook of standard 9 th.I have used a blend of English and Malayalam language for communication as it was more comfortable to them. There were 35/42  students present in the classroom. Good class management and time management. A proper verbal and nonverbal communication was fostered.  Day 10- 26/11/2025-Wednesday

I had a rigorous check up through the chapter and presented it well. After the line duty I had to collect the substitution class.I got substitute class one at 9 L.I had to take the seventh Lesson template of the topic midpoint between two points .The fundamentals of the number system that is the natural numbers,whole numbers, integers, rational numbers,irrational numbers and hence the real numbers were discussed. I had a rigorous check up through the chapter and presented it well. I have gone thoroughly through the SCERT Mathematics textbook and handbook of standard 9 th.I have used a blend of English and Malayalam language for communication as it was more comfortable to them. There were 33/42 students present in the classroom. Good class management and time management. A proper verbal and nonverbal communication was fostered.  Day 12- 28/11/2025- Friday

 Today I have reached the school at 8.35.Have signed the morning attendance and volunteered the morning line duty at the school. After the line duty I had to collect the substitution class.I got substitute class one at 9 L.In the first period I and taken the 18 th LP, which was a substitution class where Dr Vanaja M, General education teacher came for the observation She said that the class was good but the posture which introduction phase like holding the hands in the back and front has to be avoided and presentation speed has to be reduced.The next Lesson template was the inquiry training model on the topic Algebra of measurements of the new chapter Polynomial s .I had gone through each phase of inquiry model systematically. I had a rigorous check up through the chapter and presented it well. I have gone thoroughly through the SCERT Mathematics textbook and handbook of standard 9 th.I have used a blend of English and Malayalam language for communication as it was more comfortable to them.
